Silver Scat
Selenotoca multifasciata
Other Names: Spotbanded scat, striped butterfish or barred scat. Family: Scatophagidae, the scat family is a small family of fishes in the order Perciformes. Size: To 28 cm Distribution: Throughout Indonesia, northern Australia and Papua New Guinea. Habitat: The Silver Scat likes to inhabit brackish mangrove estuaries and coastal freshwater.
